I have been with Dr. McAleer since ~2019 and I never want to find another eye doctor. She is kind, compassionate and genuine with her patients. She takes her time when talking to you and listens to all of your concerns, every time. I feel like a family member is taking care of me when I go to see her. In my professional experience I have worked with many physicians and advanced practice providers.

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. McAleer and her incredible staff. From the moment I walked into the office, I felt welcomed, cared for, and truly listened to. I came in experiencing blurry vision and, having recently been diagnosed with MS, I was understandably anxious. Dr. McAleer provided one of the most thorough eye exams I’ve ever had, and her calm, patient approach made all the difference. She took the time to explain everything in detail—what was happening with my vision, how it related to my diagnosis, and what steps we could take moving forward.

I never felt rushed. In fact, she encouraged my questions and made sure I understood each part of the exam. By the end, I felt like I had taken a crash course in eye health! I especially recommend opting for the retina photos. They gave us a clear and comprehensive view of what was going on, and Dr. McAleer walked me through the images with such clarity and care.

Her compassion, expertise, and dedication to patient education are unmatched. If you’re looking for an eye care professional who treats you like a person—not just a patient—Dr. McAleer is the one. I’m deeply grateful for her support during a vulnerable time, and I wouldn’t trust my vision to anyone else.
